Keith and the rest of the Mo Fo(wlers) Bro’s have raised funds for the Prostate Cancer charity by all growing moustaches through November; collecting over £100. Well done chaps.

When he signed up in September it seemed like a great idea, but when Keith turned up on the day he wasn’t so sure: Hell had frozen over.
Keith went to Hell and back with subzero temperatures, steep hill after hill both up and down, a neck high swim in the ice cold sludge Bog of Doom, 2 further dips through a river for good measure finishing with more hills of loose sand at the Hills of Hell.
Keith survived in 1hr 18 and out of 2000 runners came 76th. Will he be Hellrunning again next year?.....
While he contemplates that thought watch this excellent head cam action from the run taken by superfli69. Get a HellRunner's view for yourself.
With only 1 marathon under his belt Keith pushed himself way further this year by attempting to run 2 Marathons in 8 days - Brighton's First Marathon on Sunday April 18th and then the London Marathon on Sunday April 25th.
Now you may be thinking "what has Keith let himself in for? The last time he ran a marathon was back in 2008, how the heck is he going to get around 2 in just 8 days?" Well let me tell you now: that's exactly what he thought too.
Now that may sound slightly crazy, but then again he was willing to take on the challenge. He raised over £970 for the British Heart Foundation and their pioneering research, vital prevention activity and for ensuring the quality care and support they provide for everyone living with heart disease.

Looking for another opportunity to take part in Young Enterprise, Keith’s back standing at the front of a class of 28 x14 and 15 year olds with the pupils eager to learn from someone in addition to their regular teacher. As part of Young Enterprise, Keith delivered a lesson on ‘Personal Economics’ at Blatchington Mill School, Hove, which aimed to challenge and inspire students to consider their future money management, employment and finances.
Keith found the day extremely rewarding. “What a truly beneficial day for everyone. For me, having to engage with and win the attention of the class was excellent training and has, I’m sure, improved my presentations skills; while for the students, having an insight into a variety of issues and challenges that they will face in their future, delivered by someone from the world of business, was illuminating and inspiring. If only there had been something like this when I was at school!”

Keith found himself back at school, this time standing at the front of a class of 30 x14 and 15 year olds eager to learn from someone new. The lesson at Thomas Bennett Community College, Crawley was ‘Learn to Earn’, a Young Enterprise programme challenging students to make the connections between education, training and employment.
“Gone are the days of flicking through career books; this programme really provoked the students into thinking about how success now breeds success in the future, and that it is the real payoff for hard work. We worked through exercises that dealt with topics such as ‘reality bites the cost of living’ and ‘playing with success’, which inspired the pupils to set goals for themselves. Taking the class has given me a healthier respect for these young people and some invaluable presentation skills training. It has also put me in touch with other local business people who recognise the value of Young Enterprise.”

"Challenge? Cycling along the South Down Way, from Winchester to Eastbourne, all 105 miles off road…bring it on!"
A first for both Keith and his younger brother Mark, riding the South Down Way was a glorious event. The pair raised £426 for The Argus Appeal which aims to relieve sickness, poverty, hardship and provide benefits for lonely, needy old people and underprivileged children in the area. All the funds raised are used to support causes where they can “make a difference”.

Keith's first ever run at an organised event and with a distance of 10 miles, this was a challenge! He raised a fantastic £1,082 which went towards vital research into cancer treatment in memory of close friends and family affected by cancer, past and present.
